In 2022, I personally purchased my first out-of-state rental property.  I found a local investor friendly real estate agent through my network and she helped me select the best property based on my ROI goals.  She suggested the inspection company, roofer, electricians, plumbers, and handyman to get everything done-nearly turnkey!  Within 3 months we closed on the property, made repairs, and had it leased.  Having a local expert with a vetted network is in-valuable.
